The Country Store Shop in Ilsington Village closed at the end of 2008.

The Ilsington Community Shop Steering Group has been set up to investigate ways of setting up a new Community Shop - i.e. a non-profit making venture run with the aid of volunteers for the benefit of the Community.  Initial priorities are to see if the post office can continue to function somewhere in the village and to look at building a new shop as soon as possible.

The Organising Committee consists of :-

Chairman: Alan Hobbs

Secretary: Sue Norris

Treasurer: Martin Foster

Committee Members: Neil Blackhurst, Kirsten Day, Rachel Heathman,
Brian Major, Nicola Portus, Su Weathon.

We are keen to enlist the help of more people to help with this project.  If you would like to do so or would just like further information please contact Sue Norris by clicking here.
