Twinning Association

Ilsington Parish was originally twinned with Brasparts in Brittany and many parishioners still have connections with French families there.  We are now also twinned with Ste.Marguerite d'Elle in Normandy. Visits are made every other year, at Easter, to stay with French families in Ste.Marguerite d'Elle and in the intervening years they come to stay with us. These visits are always most enjoyable and many long lasting friendships have been made.

During the year, meetings of the Ilsington Twinners are held every other month and various events are organised to raise funds to entertain our French guests.
