Smallacombe

Smallacombe is one of the old farms of Ilsington Manor. Alfred Lyon bought the old thatched farmhouse as a burnt out shell in 1863 and rebuilt it.  There were many tin and iron ore mines in this area. (see Haytor Vale and Trumpeter)
