07/57 Declaration of acceptance of office of Parish Councillor

All councillors present signed the declaration of acceptance office. Messrs Retallick and Mansfield signed the acceptance book prior to the meeting and witnessed by the proper officer.

07/58 Election of Chairman

Mr Westaway nominated Mrs J Smith chairman, seconded by Mr P Gibson.

07/59 Declaration of acceptance of office of Chairman

Mrs J Smith signed the book accepting this office.

07/60 Election of Vice Chairman

Mr P Gibson nominated R Westaway to stand as Vice Chairman and this was seconded by Mrs Smith, and accepted by Mr Westaway.

07/61 Appointment of Committees

Planning Committee all councillors

Finance Committee Mrs Smith and Messrs Blackwell, Gibson and Westaway.

Allotment Committee Messrs Bardell, Gibson and Westaway.

07/62 Appointment of Parish council representatives on outside bodies.

Dartmoor National Park Authority – Mr Retallick

DAPC County Committee – Mr Blackwell

Liverton Village Hall Mrs Smith

Ilsington Village Hall – Mr Gibson

IPFRA – Mr Westaway

Rural Aid Fund – Mrs Smith

Dartmoor Consultative Group- Mr Gibson

07/63 Appointment of two trustees onto Ilsington United Charities

Mr Gibson informed the meeting that Mrs Coon and Parmenter were happy to stand for another term this was accepted by all councillors.

07/64 Appointment of two trustees onto the Jane Ford Educational Trust.

Messrs Gibson and Williams were nominated and elected to stand for another term.

07/65 Nomination of Parish Member to Dartmoor National Park Authority.

Mr Westaway nominated Mr Retallick and this was seconded by Mr Blackwell, the clerk will notify Mr Retallick and complete the forms.

07/66 Nomination for the County Committee for DAPC

Mr Gibson nominated Mr Blackwell and Mrs Smith and this was seconded by Mr Bardell.

07/67 Adoption of standing orders and financial standing orders

The meeting agreed to adopt these

07/68 Considerations of Planning Applications received from TDC and DNPA

1. Extension to rear and conversion of loft, including increase in roof height

At Rock View, Exeter Cross, Liverton - No objection.

Grant of Conditional Planning Consent

1 18 Summerhill Crescent, Liverton – Conservatory to rear.

07/69 To confirm the next meeting of Ilsington Parish Council on Tuesday May

22^nd 2007 in Liverton Village Hall at 7.30 pm.
