07/10
To receive reports from Parish Councillors on outside bodies.
Mr Squire reported that the Twinning group is going to France at Easter.
Mr Retallick informed the meeting that the National Park information centre site has been pegged out and tenders are being sent out for the building. He asked if a rural housing survey for the parish needs could be put onto the next month’s agenda to access the future need for the parish. If we ever have an opportunity again for social housing we need evidence to support it.
Ilsington Village Hall took £700 from refreshments severed at the Simms hill rally. The committee would like to build a meeting room on and have suggested that the Parish Council could use it. They also have made it clear that if the hall is booked and not used the rental will still need to be paid for any cancelled planning meetings.
