To confirm the minutes of the last meeting 27th March 2007
A slight alteration of item 07/31 was made then the minutes were signed as a true record of the last meeting.

To report matters arising from the minutes not on the agenda.
Parish maps are available for councilors to mark areas for the attention of the highways department.
07/49
Urgent business brought forward by the Chairman.
The Chairman reminded the councillors of the Civic service on the 6th of May at the Church please could as many as possible attend and meet outside at 10.20am. Mr Blackhurst offered to pour the sherry at the end of the service. The councillors agreed to purchase the sherry and nibbles.
Vacancies on councils, any persons wishing to stand as parish councillor need to write to the clerk with a letter of intent before the next full council meeting on the 22nd of May.
07/50 To receive reports from District, County Councillors
and Police Officer.
Mr Christophers informed the meeting that the appeal for the proposed service station at
Drumbridges would take place shortly and suggested the council enforce there concerns
in writing as soon as possible. This would include the need to remove the cycle path a
insist on a purpose built bridge over the A38 at Stover Park entrance.
There followed a lengthy discussion about the timing of traffic survey’s and the
conclusion should be included with our comments to TDC.
Mr Blackhurst reported a 6% reduction in crime in the Chudleigh area. The Police
authority will be investing into neighbour schemes.
07/51 PUBLIC FORUM
Mr Gibson reported there have been
several disturbances at the playing field where the police had been informed
and a request has been made to increase patrols in this area. It
was suggested that there was a need to take ownership of these problems
and the problems be addressed directly.
07/52 To consider the planning applications

1. Proposed: Erection of conservatory to rear of 12 Oaklea Park, Old Liverton Road. No objection
2. Proposed: Extend chimney to a maximum of 2 meters at Brocks Way, Green Lane, Ilsington. No objection

Three stables and hay store over
and relocation of access to field at Ingsdon House, Ingsdon. Objection
as it would have a damaging impact to the landscape and open spaces.
4. 7 Laskeys Heath, Liverton - Conservatory to rear. No objection
Grant of Conditional Planning Consent
1 Amendment to plans for 2 Trumpeter Cottages, Ilsington
2 21 Benedicts Rd, Liverton - Loft conversion
3 Bovey Forest House. Liverton – Demolition and re construction of replacement dwelling

Appeal Refusal for small timber shed to store tools etc at Land adj to Heatherdown, Haytor.
Mr Retallick reported a withdrawal of the caravan application at Corymore, Knapmore Hill, Louston and a new application is being looked at for existing caravan as accommodation for seasonal workers.

To receive reports from Parish Councillors on outside bodies.
Mr Squire reported on a successful visit to France during the visit they were taken to the National Stud Farm. Hopefully St Margerette Delle will visit us next year.
Mr Bardell handed in a form from TALC for notification of change of representatives after the elections.
