PUBLIC FORUM
Mrs Windsor was very pleased the pot holes had been filled so quickly. A report of the play area in Liverton in the Mid Devon Advertiser was agreed to have been rather misleading to suggest that the parish council was involved. The Vice Chairman confirmed that there are no plans at present to do any further work at the play area; she explained that we are waiting developments within Liverton Village Hall committee and their thoughts on installing a small play are within their grounds. The councilors will discuss this further in the council meeting and the possibly of including it on the next agenda.
An enquiry was made about the progress of Little Meadow and the clerk confirmed that we are waiting legal and financial issues.
Mrs Windsor asked about the bin at the bus shelter, the clerk will ask LVH caretaker and TDC for service to provide and empty.
A parishioner asked if the community policeman was still working in our area as he has not been seen for some time. The clerk will write to him and remind him of the meetings. It was felt that a community policeman is vital in rural areas as call centre staff are completely unaware of areas like our own.
Write to TDC to ask for the rent for the school room for fast tracking planning applications to be reimbursed by them..
